Itinerary:
Salzburg, Austria. We will check out:
- Hallstatt: Hallstatt is a charming town on the shores of a picturesque lake with the oldest salt mines in the world. Its unique location in the Salzkammergut makes it one of the most popular tourist destinations
- St Gilgen: The ancient town of St. Gilgen is set in a stunning and breathtaking landscape on the shores of Lake Wolfgang
- The town of Mondsee, with its famous St. Michael's Wedding Basilica, lies in the beautiful countryside between the lakes Mondsee and Irrsee
- Salzburg: Birth Place of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. UNESCO World Heritage Site: The narrow cobblestone streets and Baroque squares of the Altstadt (Old Town)
Hohensalzburg Fortress, "The Sound of Music", Alpine Scenery, etc.
What to bring: wear hiking clothes (loose shorts/pants), swimming clothes, hiking boots or shoes, sandals, hat, sunscreen, water, snacks, food and personal items
