ABOUT THE HIKE: Join us for a intermediate level hike in the Aliso and Wood Canyon Wilderness Park. This hike is approximately 5-6 miles with about 1000 feet of elevation gain. The hike begins creekside along the shaded Wood Canyon Trail. We hike along wood canyon, up chola, down Lynx , coyote run then up the very steep Rock-it trail. At the top of Rock-it we head back on west ridge . At the end of west Ridge we will come down via either Cholla or the street depending on the time. This is an intermediate level hike not suitable for beginners as we will be climbing up and down several steep and rugged hills. We leave promptly at 5:00 PM so give yourself time to park and head to the meeting spot.
