LOCATION : 6700 E. Walnut Canyon Rd. · Anaheim, CA.
PARKING: There is free parking near the trailhead and on the street adjacent to the trailhead.
MEETING TIME: 8:00 AM (finish the hike in about 2.5 hours)
GENERAL RATING/DIFFICULTY: Level 1-1.5: RATING TABLE (https://tinyurl.com/HikeRating) for more info about hiking levels.
DISTANCE/ELEVATION/DURATION: Estimate 4.5 miles. Elevation: 200 feet.
ESSENTIALS: Wear traction hiking shoes, bring water, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat.
ROUTE: The hike will take us up the first canyon and around the Walnut Canyon reservoir atop of the park and back down where we will hike the other canyons that make up the Nature Center. No pets allowed. Due to the expected high tempertures this weekend, the last part of this hike is shaded so, while not a challenging hike, it is perfect for the weather which is upon us.
