Black Star Canyon Falls (Level 2)

We will hike even though there may be light rain on the hiking date. I will cancel the hike if the rain is heavy.

We will start at the Black Star Canyon Gate then walk along Black Star Canyon Road for almost 3 miles before leaving the dirt road and entering the Black Star Creek bed toward the falls. The last portion of the hike requires some boulder hopping up the stream bed to reach Black Star Canyon Falls, so be sure you’re wearing the right shoes! There will be some creek crossing. We will return the same way back.

Distance: 7 miles

Elevation Gain: 850 ft

Please bring sturdy shoes for wet trail and boulder climbing. This trail is dog friendly.
