HikingOC Special Super Blooms Spring trip to Northern LA and central CA Wildflowers Road Trip: Carrizo Plain, Cuyama Valley, Arvin, Tehachapi, Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve, etc.
With all the rains, we are looking for another beautiful wildflowers season SoCal. We will be on a trip flexible with hiking schedule and sightseeing carpet wildflowers on rolling hills and valley of Carrizo Plain National Monument: https://www.blm.gov/nlcs_web/sites/ca/st/en/prog/nlcs/Carrizo_Plain_NM.html
TRIP COST, DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION

***Estimate cost: including lodging, transportation, coordinating fee, but not including food: $250+ for 2 days/1 night double occupancy. Due by Mar 30, 2023.
>>>Advance deposit is $150 (non-refundable) and due by Mar 27, 2023. Payment after due date 10% more on deposit amount or depends on available spaces and booking.
>>>CANCELLATIONS: If you need to cancel, the deposit amount is non-refundable
***Cancellation 10 days or less prior to the trip, total estimate trip cost is forfeit.
- Lodging: 1 night (Friday) double occupancy (triple and quadruple occupancy are lower ).

- Transportation: carpool (gas/car rental)
- Food: at your own cost ($40+)

Tentative Schedule: depends on weather.
- Day 1 (Friday April 7): leave OC at 7am from Irvine or a designated plan carpool location. We plan to stop by Millard Canyon Falls first. We will arrive Carrizo Plain afternoon enter the south entrance from Soda Lake Rd, and drive along Elkhorn Rd from south to north. Please note Elkhorn Rd is unpaved, high clearance vehicle is recommended.
If we have time to hike Caliente Mountain https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/caliente-mountain-ridge-trail
then Saturday schedule will be on the way back
