This is Day 2 of HikingOC Summer Repeating Trip in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks

When: 9 AM meet at the lodge and drive to Yellowstone together.

Where: Old Faithful area. Hiking Mystic Falls/Fairy Falls/Grand Prismatic Spring and Lone Star Geyser and more if time allows.

Distance/Duration: ~2-5 mi / 4-6 hours

Our first stop will be Old Faithful Geyser, then around this area for more hiking.

More about Old Faithful Historic Area:
Old Faithful was named by the first official expedition to Yellowstone, the Washburn Expedition of 1870. They were impressed by its size and frequency. Old Faithful erupts every 35 to 120 minutes for 1 1/2 to 5 minutes. Its maximum height ranges from 90 to 184 feet.
