Backpacking in Olympic - 3 or 4 nights, beginner friendly

Details
Invitation to join me on a beautiful early season backpacking route (below snow line, out and back) this April 11-15 in Olympic. We can make it a 3 or 4 night trip, depending on your availability. Since it's a last minute event, very willing to be flexible on route options or exact start/end times if it helps us get a group of even 2-3 folks together! (More fun and safer than going solo.)
I can handle the wilderness permits with Olympic National Park and can take several passengers if you are also coming from the Seattle area. I already have a Garmin InReach mini 2 (satellite communicator) and can potentially share my stove/fuel.
Permit cost is $8/night per person.
Distance: 25-35 miles
Time: 3 or 4 nights
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Travel: Leaving the Seattle area on Friday April 11th in the afternoon, returning evening of 15th.
Here are two route options (more details and maps here).
- Dosewallips river valley - East side of Olympic National Park, old growth forest, below snow line. About 30 miles round trip. Just 2.5 hours from Seattle. (I'm leaning toward this one as it's logistically simpler and has fewer risks, but willing to be outvoted if folks really want the coast)
- North coast - Ozette Triangle and down toward Rialto Beach, coastal trail with tides and lots of climbing over slippery rocks, no campfires allowed (4.5-6 hours from Seattle, depending on ferry). Trickier option, but the the coast is stunning.
Food/gear is on you.
This is not an advanced trip but it's strongly advised that you have at least one night of prior primitive backcountry backpacking trip experience (or be fully fully ready for one in terms of gear and fitness).
Please fill out this survey form -- this will be the main way to coordinate.
