We're sure most of you are interested in learning new technologies and tools. That's why we're excited to participate in the first Community Speedrun Challenge that Google is organizing for developer communities in Europe. And as part of the GDG-Hildesheim, you're among the first to know about this!!

The Community Speedrun Challenge is a training program that will run in May where you’ll have the opportunity to join four Speedruns and get hands-on experience with Machine Learning on Google Cloud and Tensorflow, and take your first steps with tools like BigQuery, Cloud Speech API, and Cloud ML Engine. Every Speedrun is open for a week to give you the ability to finish all labs in your best time, scoring more points and winning prizes.

This challenge is for those who want to gain hands on experience with Google cloud and Machine learning.

Steps to Register and win prizes

Step 1 : Register in Google events. (Don't forget to mention Group Name- GDGHildesheim)

Step 3 : Receive Confirmation and Attend the speedrun Challenge webinar along with me and then win the prices.

Prizes

All participants that finish at least one Speedrun will get a one-month free subscription to Qwiklabs and earn a badge for each Speedrun they complete

Top Winners from each Speedrun receive a $50 voucher for the Google Online Store

Runners-up 2-5 of each Speedrun receive $20 voucher for the Google Online Store

How does it work?

Each Speedrun kicks off with a Webinar by a Google trainer (19.00-21.00 (GMT +02)). The Speedrun is open until Sunday the same week to give you the ability to finish all labs in your best time.

Register for all Speedruns that you are interested in

Receive access to the Speedrun as well as all information about the webinar before the Speedrun starts

Register your Qwiklabs account (you will need an account to participate)

Join the online webinar and learn from a Google trainer all about the Speedruns topic and finish the first lab together

Within the same week: Complete all of the labs for the Speedrun as fast as you can - you can play each of the labs up to five times to score your best time

Check out the leaderboards and see how much you scored (will be updated soon)

Repeat for all Speedruns :D
