Tell City Council: NO to SDG&E Deal and NO to Fracking!

In the next week the San Diego City Council will vote on a deal with SDG&E that would lock in already outrageously high utility bills for taxpayers for another 10 years or more. San Diegans already pay the highest rates in the state. We deserve better.

SDG&E is profiting hundreds of millions off the backs of struggling Californians. With a progressive City Council, San Diego has an opportunity to finally make a deal that will give back to the city rather than the profit margins of a greedy utility company.

In addition, SDG&E is owned by Sempra Energy, a company heavily invested in fracking and the fossil fuel industry, whose shareholders recently voted down a proposal to align with the Paris Climate Accord. Our climate and planet also deserve better.

Please contact your City Council member TODAY and tell them to reject the abusive SDG&E franchise deal. Our city, our people, our planet deserve better!
