John Stott's study: Jesus Christ (Study 13)

Details
Our final study of this series. We will conclude John Stott's study on Jesus Christ with Study 13-The Model in Suffering
Also, we will discuss what we would like to study next.
1 Peter 2: 18-25
Peter has been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to Jews., and it seems clear that in his first letter he has Jewish readers principally in mind. Peter's opening doxology praises God that he has given us a "new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ". And this living hope sustains us, however fierce the opposition may be. Although Peter handles many other topics in his first letter, his main emphasis is on Christian behavior in the face of persecution. The wors suffer and suffering occur seven times in relation to Chris and nine times in relation to Christians.
