About the host
Hi, I’m Mariho, a Japanese local living in Himeji.
I speak Japanese (native), and conversational English and Thai.
I’ve lived abroad and joined many language exchange events.
One thing I often found difficult was that conversations were led by advanced speakers,
and it was hard to join in as a beginner.
I don’t want anyone to feel that way at this event.
So I’ll create a space where everyone has time to speak,
in a small and supportive environment.

Even if you’re not confident, you’re very welcome to join!
You don’t have to be perfect — just bring your willingness to communicate 🌱

主催者について
姫路在住のMariho（日本人）です。
日本語（ネイティブ）、英語とタイ語は日常会話レベルで話せます。
海外で生活していた経験があり、これまでたくさんのランゲージエクスチェンジに参加してきましたが、
一番つらかったのは「上級者の方が中心になり、英語がまだ得意でない自分は会話に入りづらい」と感じたことでした。
このイベントに参加してくださる皆さんには、そんな思いをしてほしくありません。
そのために、少人数で、みんなが順番に話せる時間を大切にしながら進めていきます。

人前で話すのが苦手な方も、ぜひこの機会にトライしてみてください！
