Join us for a special celebration of WordPress’s 21st anniversary with a focus on environmental stewardship! As WordPress enthusiasts, we recognize the role technology plays in shaping our world. Let’s come together to make a positive impact:

1. Tree Plantation Drive: On May 26, 2024, we’ll plant 50-75 trees in Hisar. By contributing to our local ecosystem, we’re taking a step toward a greener future.
2. Tech and Nature Discussion: In a brief 10-15 minute session, we’ll raise awareness about the impact of technology on nature. As developers, we’ll explore ways to minimize our digital footprint, optimize code, and create websites that are kind to the environment.
3. WordPress Photos Project: Capture the spirit of tree planting! We’ll click photos during the event and contribute them to the WordPress Photos project. Let’s showcase our community’s dedication to sustainability.

This event will be in collaboration with Hari Bhari Vasundhra, an organization dedicated to nature preservation who planted around 19,000 trees near Hisar. Discover their successful initiatives, including the creation of 4 forests using the Miyawaki technique.
Green Gifts: Attendees will receive a special gift—a plant pot—from Hari Bhari Vasundhra. Take it home or place it on your desk at work, and let it remind you of our commitment to nature.
