From Farmland to Frank Lloyd Wright

No repetitious development of cookie-cutter houses in this pioneering west-side suburb. Find the remaining 1860’s sandstone barn that shares the same block as a 1920’s Tudor Revival home. Identify houses ordered from a Sears-Roebuck catalog, houses made entirely of steel, and the house Wright designed as a prototype.

Meet: Next to Sunset Yarn, 3742 Speedway Rd.

After the Tour: Tour Treat Partners are paused for this tour. We thank our past partners for their support!

Length: Approximately 1 1/2 hours

Cost: $15 Adult, $5 Student, free for children under 5, FREE for MTHP Members.

*We can't get away from all the fees, but with this move to Ticket Tailor they will be much lower. You will notice that the booking fee (ticketing site fee) and transaction fee (credit card fee) are included in the ticket price. As a small nonprofit, events such as this are a fundraiser and incorporating in fees helps us continue these informative and enjoyable tours.
