Title: Introduction to Fighting with the Longsword

Description: This course will teach you the basics of fighting with the medieval longsword. By referencing ancient texts called *Fechtbücher* (fightbooks), written by master swordsman from 15th century Germany, you will learn to: properly cut with a sword, defend yourself from attacks, and outsmart your opponents. Come be part of a centuries-old tradition!

Cost: $75, non-refundable

Details:

* This course is for adults ages 18+
* If you miss a session, we offer make-up sessions on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30.
* What to bring? Comfortable clothes, clean socks, water, groin protection. Groin protection is a requirement!
* This course includes moderate physical activity and full-contact sparring with other participants.
* Participation is first-come-first-serve and space is limited.
