Hello!

My name is Alessandro, and welcome to the Historical Fiction Book Explorers page. While I have always loved attending and hosting in-person book discussions, in order to make this as accessible as possible, I've created an online space to talk all things historical fiction.

This is a very new group, and if you love reading and discussing all types of historical fiction books, please feel free to join or message me if you have any questions! My goal is to host a meeting once a month via Zoom in order to discuss 1 historical fiction book.

Our first meeting is going to be Wednesday, November 19th, at 7:30 P.M. Central Time. I will send out a Zoom link the day of to make sure everyone has it.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your interest in the Historical Fiction Book Explorers group! While I love in-person book discussions, to make this accessible as possible, our first meeting will be online via Zoom. I am not able to change the meeting format on Meetup at this time, but please know this is going to be online, not in-person.

For the first meeting, we will be reading The Librarian Spy by Madeline Martin, a work about American librarian spies living in Europe during World War II. At the end of this first meeting, we can discuss books we'd like to read for future gatherings.
