Details

The United Nations was established in 1945 by the victorious WW2 Allies as a successor to the post-WW1 League of Nations. It’s purpose was to prevent future wars, settle disputes through international law, and promote cooperation for development.
We’ll look at its organization and consider its early actions in Palestine, Korea, Suez, Congo and other crises.
