Opera and Art at the Frist

Join us for a beautiful evening where painting and music meet.
In celebration of The Impressionist Revolution: Monet to Matisse the Nashville Opera’s Emerging Artists will present a special 45-minute Impressionist recital at the Frist.

We will:
• Meet first in the Frist Café Cheeserie (come early if you’d like to grab a drink or fromage-forward bite!)
• Attend the recital together from 6:00-6:45
• Then tour the museum galleries to experience the Impressionist works that inspired the music.

This curated performance features exquisite vocal and piano works by Impressionist composers, designed to mirror the light, color, and atmosphere found in the exhibition.

The performance is free and open to the public — a perfect way to experience the harmony between visual and performing arts, but you will need to register first for a ticket.
