This meeting is for all those interested in Honey bees and beekeeping. We are starting this experience because we believe in the importance of sharing our knowledge with the general public, as part of a strategy to protect one of the most important pollinators ever, the honey bee. Did you know that a third of your food is pollinated by honey bees?! Learn about them through experience.

The topics we will be talking about will be.

-Bee democracy

-how to start your own apiary ( how to catch a swarm)

-How monoculture affects the health of the colonies.
