IELTS intensive training
Details
Introduction
The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an international standardized English test jointly managed by the British Council, IDP and Cambridge English. It has three main types: Academic, General Training and tests for UKVI (United Kingdom Visas and Immigration). This course will mainly focus on the Academic test, which is the English proficiency assessment criteria for university admission in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries.
The Academic IELTS consists of four papers: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. I obtained an overall band of 8.0 for this test in 2007, and have been teaching people English since. You can find one of my articles on English teaching at Medium. Moreover, I have worked as a writer for an English student newspaper in the past and have published ebooks on Amazon.
Course format
There will be a total of 6 lessons of 3 hours each. Each lesson will be split into two sessions, with each session focusing one of the papers. Below is the tentative schedule and contents (subject to change according to circumstances)

In each session we will first go through the practice papers, then I will explain the mistakes and share my exam tips. For example, I will provide some word drills with those who are weak in vocabulary, clarify the rules of English sentence construction to those who are prone to grammatical mistakes.
