We are back and in our next session, Tomas will give a brief overview of Scala frameworks that make programming on top of Hadoop better and more natural, i.e. functional, with an outlook on some new frameworks beyond the Hadoop programming model, such as Spark. After that, Linus will then do a live demo in Spark.
