A Gathering of Curious Minds

Hmmm...Playground for Curious Minds is a diverse community of interesting people who gather to discuss ideas.

A warm thanks to those who joined us for the very first Gathering of Curious Minds last week. It was an extraordinary group of people and the discussion was lively. Let's do it again!

Based on your feedback, we will adjust the format to focus on the best parts of the first meetup: lively conversation and authentic dialogue.

Like the first meetup, we will get to know one another in unusual ways, try some experiments, explore topics, and see what new insights we can discover together. Sound fun? Join us for an evening of creative cross-pollination.

For this meetup, we will kick off the discussion by inviting you to briefly explore the following hypothetical scenario:

A benevolent billionaire has taken note of your insatiable spirit of curiosity and offers you a renewing grant of $1M per year, with the condition that each year you must conduct a curious exploration of a different topic or field of interest. At the end of each year, you will gather with other grant recipients to collaborate and compare notes. What are some of the topics you would explore? What questions would you seek to answer? Who would you talk to? What questions might you ask?
