Group readaloud: Short Stories by Anton Chekhov
Details
This is a read-aloud session, with all text shared on-screen, and discussions of what we just read between rounds – like a small-group seminar.
In this session, we'll finally be reading the Chekhov story, "Small Fry", that inspired Katherine Mansfield's "The Fly".
Then we'll read "The Student", said to be Chekhov's own favorite of his stories, and a recent poem inspired by it.
If there is time, we'll next read "The Bet".

Latecomers (unless we know you) will generally NOT BE ADMITTED once the reading starts. If this is your first time with us, consider joining five minutes early, so we can work out any technical issues you may be having.
