What we’re about
HMR Department of Make-Believe & Gaming brings together people who enjoy tabletop board games and role-playing games. These are the sort from specialty game shops rather than the common family games found at big box stores. Light to heavy strategy, Eurogames, deck builders, dice rollers, and of course role-playing games.
Events will take place locally (specific locations TBD - suggestions welcome). We encourage members to bring their own games or campaigns, especially if they want to GM.
While we do try to keep things fun and light, this group is not recommended for youngsters (12 or under). Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will stay throughout the event.
This is an inclusive group. All members and attendees should bring a friendly, accepting attitude. Competition is fine but table-flipping, personal insults, or generally "unsportsman-like conduct" will not be tolerated.
