Ruins & Rum: Thursday Night Social

A relaxed Thursday evening for people interested in history, archaeology, travel, culture, and meeting like-minded people in HCMC.

No lectures or formal talks — just good conversation, drinks, and a social start to the weekend with a mix of locals, expats, researchers, travellers, and anyone curious about the world around them.

Whether you’re deeply into archaeology or just enjoy meeting interesting people outside the usual scenes, you’re very welcome to join us.

The bar is fairly compact and the staff know me well — if you ask for Rupert, they’ll point me out.

Realistically, you probably won’t miss me anyway.

First time coming? Don’t worry about turning up solo — most people do.
