Join us for a data journey across industries and use cases, from gaming all the way to local retail.

Trae and Huong will share their experience applying modern data technology in two very different worlds, namely a mobile gaming app and running a local fashion shop.

We will start by looking at a case study from mobile gaming, an industry once driven by intuition that is now guided by data in all aspects, from user acquisition, to publishing, live-ops and all the way to monetisation.

Then, we will see how a small local brand has learnt to collect and analyse its own data to understand customers, optimise products, and speed up decision-making.

Skipping the deep tech and the AI buzzwords, this talk will show you how data, when applied thoughtfully and simply, can make real operations smarter and faster, no matter the industry.

Part 1: The reality of using data in mobile gaming
Once driven by intuition, the mobile gaming industry has transformed through data. This session compares the times before and after, showcasing how data now fuels daily decisions in user acquisition, product publishing, LiveOps, and monetisation, with real-world examples of data-driven optimisations for performance and revenue.

Part 2: From small to (hopefully) big data
Most local fashion are far from capitalising on their data. Trae will speak from his experience running his own local brand, showing you how collecting and analysing structured data across sales, products, and customers can replace guesswork to streamline operations and drive smarter business decisions.
