1️⃣ Collecting and managing dbt test results: a pragmatic approach to handling dbt warnings
Speaker: Minh Ngo (Enlin), Analytics Tech Lead at Infinite Lambda

Minh Ngo has extensive experience in analytics, which invariably involves chasing bugs. He argues we need to treat dbt bugfix as a separate process from feature development.

In this talk, Minh is going to look at real project examples of dbt issues workflow. He is going to touch upon:

• Recording dbt issues by parsing run metadata;
• Issue classification & prioritisation (data quality);
• Community packages that help us automate the process.

Minh is also going to give a live demo to show us how it all comes together.

2️⃣ Harnessing the simplicity of dbt and BigQuery to make your data talk for free
Speaker: Bruno Rassat, Data Lead at Entobel

For data analysts, reading and manipulating data effectively is crucial. In this talk, Bruno Rassat is going to delve into how dbt empowers this and enables analysts’ ownership of their underlying data models.

In this presentation, we are going to see a live demo of using dbt for transformations, testing and data literacy.
