Are any of your Resolutions to increase your confidence? Meet new people? Learn Meeting Management Skills?
Rostrum, the Public Speaking Club, is on holiday for Christmas and January. But come join us at Rostrum Club 2 in person at the Bishop Hay Centre when we resume at 1.00 PM, on the last Tuesday in January 2026 (27 January 2026)
Visitors welcome at no charge.

Club 2 meets every Tuesday at 1.10pm for a 1.10 start in the Bishop Hay building next to St Davids Cathedral, Hobart, with a lively program already circulated to members.
Visitors are welcome. You can get ready for many occasions from Family speeches to job interviews.

Usually a lively group of 10-15 people, with an agenda to meet many different speaking situations, join Club 2 for an enjoyable lunchtime break, with some constructive public speaking and meeting management training. Our ethos is that we learn by ‘doing’ in a friendly environment.
You don't need to bring anything, but a pen and paper are handy if you wish to take notes.
We meet at the Bishop Hay Centre at 121 Macquarie St (behind St David’s Cathedral) at 1pm and we finish at 1.55pm.
