Adult Hula Hooping: Spin, Play, Laugh!
Details
You KNOW if you see a hula hoop on the grass, and if no one is looking, you have to give it a try. Why? Because you remember the pure, uncomplicated fun of it.
For most of us, it’s been years—maybe even decades. But hula hooping isn't just a playground memory; it’s a high-energy, fun, and mindful way to move your body and clear your mind.
Led by John, a coach around the mindset of having fun, and Melissa, a professional hula hoop master and builder, we’ve designed a series of beginner-friendly activities and games to reconnect with that part of ourselves that loves to have fun for the sake of it.
What To Expect
We’ve designed a full itinerary to take you from "first spin" to "hoop hero" in a supportive, zero-pressure environment:
- Find Your Hoop Size: That's right! We'll have 9 different hoops for you to find the best fit for your body and style.
- Exploring Skills: Melissa will guide us through trying skills like turning, walking, and moving while keeping the hoop in motion.
- Team Relays: Pick a team name, strike a "hoop pose," and compete in lighthearted relays that are more about laughter than victory.
- Free Play: Play, practice, or take part in some "Battle Hooping" to close out!
Come find your flow, laugh at the wobbles, and reclaim the joy of hula hooping!
See you there!
— John & Melissa
