Volunteer kayak and SUP training - ALL LEVELS

Current volunteers, join us for a training session!

Water temp is still cold. Wet/dry suits are required for SUP. Wet/suits are highly encouraged for kayaking as well. Bring non cotton clothing and a change of clothes.

I'll keep the number of attendees and preference will be given for guides and guides in training. Then by tomorrow it'll be open to any volunteer from 2024 and those who will be volunteering in 2025.

PREREQUISITES TO RSVP

1. Volunteered at least once in 2024 OR at the Hudson River Cup in 2024
   OR
2. You attended an "intro" session with us and promise to help us for at least 2 embayment shifts in 2025

COME PREPARED

• Quick drying clothes
• Towel
• Change of clothes
• Towel
• Sunscreen, hat
• Water in a reusable bottle

TIMELINE

6:00 PM - Meet at HCCB. Prepare equipment. Safety briefing
6:20 PM - Move boats to beach
6:30 PM - Practice in the cove
7:30 PM - Return to boathouse
7:45 PM - Clean and put away equipment
8:30 PM -Training ends
