Join the Hoboken Ski & Snowboard Club for hike on the Stairway to Heaven Trail in the Northern New Jersey Highlands. This is 2.8 mile out-and-back trail considered moderately challenging. It takes 1 hour and 44 minutes to complete. Dogs are welcome on the hike, but not allowed at the Apres spot. Sorry! The route begins as a steep climb, following the Appalachian Trail. There is an amazing payoff at the top with the view!
Meet at 10 am. We’ll start heading towards the trail at 10:10 am. Bring water, snacks and sturdy footwear.

Parking:
There is a small dirt lot on right with room for 5 or 6 cars at the trailhead. Just past this, there is room for several more cars along the road, followed by another larger dirt lot near a hotdog stand. If full, the nearby farm offers parking for a fee.

Apres Hike:
Relax and unwind after your hike at Pennings Farm Cidery! We’ll meet after the hike (around 1 pm). In addition to cider, there will be wine, food, and homemade ice cream. We recommend bringing blankets and folding chairs in case tables are full.
