Come out for an intermediate (and dog friendly) hike with Hoboken Ski and Snowboard Club! Mt. Tammany’s Red Dot/Blue Dot Loop is an intermediate 3.5 mile hike with an elevation gain of 1,243 ft. The steep ascent does include a scramble near the summit. The descent is gradual, passing by waterfalls and streams. There is a swimming hole along the trail on the way back. If the weather is good bring a change of clothes. Hikers can take a short swim break and can change back at the parking lot facilities. We should be back in the lot in less than 3 hrs.
More info about the trail and directions here.

Meet at Mt. Tammany Red Dot Trailhead Parking. There are three lots, the First lot, the Main lot, and the Overflow lot on the other side of Route 80. The Red Dot trailhead is in the First Lot. This lot often fills up, so do not worry if you have to park in either of the other two and walk over, just allow extra time.

Bring water and sturdy footwear. After the hike, we’ll stop at Shawnee Craft Brewing Co. (also dog friendly) for food and drinks (100 Shawnee Inn Dr., Shawnee on Delaware, PA; )
Contact: Sean Hightower [seanhtower@yahoo.com](mailto:seanhtower@yahoo.com)

The hike is free of charge, but please RSVP to Sean so we can get a headcount and add your phone to the optional WhatsApp for updates.
