This year, Mawlid El Nabawi Sharif falls exactly between 05 and 10 October 2022, so you will be able to experience and fully enjoy this religious event. A unique experience in the Algerian south.

Day 1 - 05 Oct 2022: The adventure starts
Our trip starts upon arrival at Algiers Airport, on the flight arriving at 1210LT (if travelling from Madrid on Iberia).
A visit of Algiers in the afternoon.
- Memorial of the martyrs
- Basilica of Our Lady of Africa
Dinner and overnight in Algiers.

Day 2 - 06 Oct 2022: Taghit
Pick up to take you to airport for your flight to Bechar/Taghit.
Arrival at Taghit l'Enchantress at the end of the morning.
Visit of the guest house and settling into our rooms.
Towards the end of the afternoon, a short hike to the dunes of Brika to admire a splendid sunset and end the day with an excellent Sahrawi tea at the oasis of L'milez,
Return to the guest house.
Dinner and evening around a campfire.

​Day 3 - 07 Oct 2022: In the footsteps of the Ancestors
Breakfast followed by a hike from 02 to 03 hours to discover the palm groves, date palms, local agriculture and the ruins of Ksar de Berbi.
Then, departure to the place of the picnic: the lake of Zaouïa Tahtania.
After lunch, discover the rock engravings dating from the Neolithic era (about 02 million years ago) that tell the story of prehistoric humanity, Sunset from one of the best spots in Taghit.
Dinner and musical evening around a campfire.

Day 4 - 08 Oct 2022: Discovery of the Saoura region
Early breakfast followed by our departure to region of Saoura and Beni Abess located 150 km from Taghit.
A visit of the Saharan museum Founded in 1924 and then we will hike our way to the Ksar.
Lunch in one of the oldest houses of Ksar Zaouïa followed by a visit of the chapel of Charles de Foucault.
Departure on the road to Marhouma in 4 * 4 to discover an exceptional landscape for the sunset.
Dinner and evening around a campfire.

Day 5 - 09 Oct 2022: Taghit in height
Guided tour of the ksar of Taghit, the ancient city built in earth, as well as the market and local handicraft shops.
Towards the end of the afternoon, a stroll on the heights of Taghit from Djebel El Baroun, a former French military fort, disconnection guaranteed!
Dinner and last musical evening around a campfire.

Day 6 - 10 Oct 2022: Algiers
Breakfast,
Free time (Possibility of organizing Quad tours at an additional cost**).
Preparation of luggage then departure to Algiers at 14:00.
Arrival in Algiers with lots of memories in mind.

Day 7 - 11 Oct 2022: Algiers
Early morning visits to:
- Botanical garden of Hamma - Garden of the trials
- Museum of Fine Arts - The Fine Arts
Departing Algiers to Madrid at 14:00 Flight Algiers-Madrid-Lisbon on Iberia flight.
