Smokin Coop BBQ Pit has been a family-owned and operated business in Belvidere, Illinois, since 2002. The restaurant is known for its slow-smoked, authentic barbecue meats and homestyle sides, with a menu that includes items like tender brisket and smoked baby back ribs. Carrie Severing, the owner, shared that they smoke their ribs for 12 hours before grilling them and adding their signature BBQ sauce.
