We LOVE Morzine in France and during the summer this place has it all.
Rough itinerary (all subject to change, depending on what YOU want to do)
Day 1: We'll meet you at Geneva airport and whisk you up the mountains to Morzine which takes about 1hr 20mins. After settling in we'll go out for dinner in one of local restaurants... wood fired pizza perhaps...?
Day 2: We'll rent mountain bikes and by taking the ski-lift up we'll get rid of most of the hard work and spend the day cruising down the roads, tracks and trails... if you are feeling a bit extreme take the plunge down one of the single track downhill runs! In the afternoon we could lunch at Village of the Goats and then perhaps head for some wild swimming in the Lac de Montriond
Day 3: Today we could Fantasticable... a zip wire (flying fox) 1.5km long and 250m above the ground!! In the afternoon we might laze alongside the olymic size pool or if we're feeling energetic take on one of the Via Ferrata courses (rock climbing with guides)
Day 4: It looks like cracking weather - so let's take a picnic (with obligatory rosé!) and hike up past the Mines d'Or and lunch on the Swiss border. If we get up early we might even see the marmottes! In the afternoon we could go swimming in the lake over at Les Gets... can you smell the bbq?!
Day 5: Ever abseiled down a waterfall? Now's your chance. Possibly the best hangover cure is to clamber, jump, abseil down the canyon at Nyon. WOWZERS! In the afternoon meet up with Morzine Parapente and take to the skies with views of Mont Blanc and the Avoriaz cliffs for a tandem paragliding experience... and then we'll crazy golf - expect forfeits and prizes!!
Day 6: Segway? White water rafting? Pony trekking? Disc Golf? Fishing? More hiking? Tennis? Go-Ape swinging through the trees type thing? All of the above? You choose - it's your holiday after all!
Day 7: Let's go biking on the other side of the valley - we can picnic with glorious views of Mont Blanc and then follow the Tour de France route (down thankfully) back to Morzine. Farewell dinner in the evening - Fondu? or Fondon't?
This trip is SO much fun. there's no pressure to do anything - so you can really do as much or as little as you wish. And you can make it as extreme or as gentle as you wish.
Most of our guests come along on their own and are in their twenties / thirties - you don't have to be amazingly sporty, but you should be averagely fit and definitely active!
It's a laid back, bbq on the balcony, swim in lakes, do stuff and drink stuff kind of holiday.
A cracking way to meet new active-minded people and explore a truly beautiful part of the world.
