A classic hike along the South coast of England.
The cost is £5, or FREE if you are entitled to MatesRates
We'll catch the 8:40 out of London St Pancras, which should have us walking in Deal at 10:20am. (If you'd like to meet us there or join us at any of the stations along the way, you'd be more than welcome)
It's a pretty straightforward walk along the coastline, flat to start with and then we'll steadily climb up for the second section where we'll be high on top of these famous cliffs.
This walk is so interesting because (apart from anything) this is the narrowest part of the English Channel and the shipping traffic is fascinating. Plus, if it's clear you can see France!
Do bring your swimmers - we can stop enroute and jump in!
The whole walk should take us about 5.5hrs and so after a celebratory pint in one of Dover's dockside taverns we'll head back to London at about 5pm...
A cracking day out for sure!
