Both. You’ll receive clear education to understand why your energy and behavior patterns work the way they do, and you’ll apply that insight through guided reflection and practical frameworks you can use immediately.
Do I need prior experience with nervous system work or coaching?
No. This workshop is designed to be accessible for newcomers while still offering depth and insight for practice members of Holistic Alignment Strategies. Everything is explained in practical, everyday language.
What do I need to bring?
Bring a notebook or something to write with, and come in comfortable clothing. Most importantly, arrive open and curious. No preparation or prior knowledge is required.

With Ease: A Nervous System Reset Through Breath & Movement

- You want to be able to move through overwhelm faster and with more ease
- You’re curious about what possibilities exist for you with less stress
- You want a guided, body-based experience without pressure to perform
What you can expect:
- Guided breathing and simple, accessible movement
- A paced, supportive environment that meets you where you are
- Time to connect with your nervous system and come into the present moment
- An experience focused on awareness, not performance
No prior experience is required. You’re encouraged to move and breathe in ways that feel comfortable for you.
Rather than pushing or forcing release, this practice invites awareness and regulation.
Many people experience a reduction in physical tension, a greater sense of mental clarity, release of trapped emotions, and a deeper connection to their body during and after the session.
Led by Dr. Vanessa Gale, this 75-minute breathwork experience uses Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI) – conscious breathing to integrate the mind with the body, using breath, touch, voice, and movement. This helps your nervous system reorganize and move into the next version of yourself.

What should I wear?
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and breathe easily. There’s no special attire required.
Do I need to bring anything?
- No. Just bring yourself. Everything you need for the experience will be provided. If you’d like to bring a friend or family member over the age of 18, please be sure to register them beforehand or call (504) 881-7512 up to 15 min before class to find out if there is space. We will always do our best to accommodate you!
Is this event free?

You don’t need to bring anything special. Wear whatever feels comfortable to you, and come with an open mind. This is a relaxed, welcoming environment. There’s no need to dress up or prepare in any particular way.
Do I need to participate or share anything?
No. You’re welcome to simply listen and observe. Participation is always optional, and you’ll never be asked to share anything personal.
Do I need to have pain or a specific problem to attend?
No. This workshop is for anyone interested in understanding how stress and tension affect the nervous system whether you’re dealing with specific symptoms or simply want to improve how your body adapts and responds.
