Create your sanctuary
In this art therapy exercise, you will view a sacred place as one that is safe, divine, and personal. This space can be a place of worship, or it can be a place in your home, such as your bedroom or even an old, beloved chair that you find comforting. It can be a beautiful area in a park, at the beach, at a lake, or a soothing place in the recesses of your mind.
Draw or paint your sacred place in any way you wish, using whatever materials that will help you represent your thoughts.
When you are finished with the art work we will interpret your subconscious feelings using art therapy tools.

sadness, and hardship, can help you better cope with your current circumstances. It provides a relief that allows you to take a breath, self-soothe, calm yourself, and become better focused.
