Connecting with and Praying for the Water at Boulder Reservoir

We are going to meet at the Boulder Reservoir West Trailhead, then continue on to the water to connect with and pray for the spirits of the land and water.

It is estimated that this reservoir supplies 20% of the drinking water for the people of Boulder. This water undergoes quite a journey that entails getting pumped from the other side of the continental divide before eventually arriving here. We will give our gratitude and honor the spirit of the water.

We are going to:

• say hello to the spirits of the land and water there
• give them gifts/offerings
• ask for their permission, blessing, and help to connect with the water, the place, and to listen to the spirits there
• begin to follow-through on information they provide on how we can be of service to the land there

Please bring a small biodegradable offering such as a food item that you have prepared or something homemade out of natural materials. The key here is that it something that you have put your energy into with the intention of giving it as a gift.
Please be prepared to be outside for a couple of hours with whatever makes you feel comfortable (water, a snack, sunscreen, hat).
