Welcome to the very first Safeway Open Studios — a lively, creative, and inspiring event bringing together artists, healers, makers, small business owners, and local vendors all opening their doors for a community-wide celebration.
Stroll the halls, visit our diverse studios, meet the talented people inside, and enjoy refreshments as you explore. Whether you're here for art, wellness, unique gifts, or connection — you’ll find something special in every room.

📍 Location: Safeway Storage & Studios Building — 135 McDonough Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801
🎟 Admission: FREE | Family-Friendly
Navigating the building: Studios/businesses are on two floors. PLEASE NOTE there is NO elevator for patron usage. There are stairs to get to the top floor where most of the studios are. Please follow signs that will be posted in the building to indicate all who are participating.

There is FREE street parking all along the side streets of McDonough St and surrounding neighborhoods. Find an open spot and park. Please be mindful not to park in front of driveways!
