About us
# Holistic Health Group
### A community for connection, curiosity, wellness and trying new things
The Holistic Health Group is a welcoming community for people who spend a lot of their lives helping, serving, caring for, protecting, teaching, supporting or showing up for others.
That may include veterans, first responders, EMTs, healthcare workers, teachers, caregivers, family members, people in public-service roles, and others whose work or life experience carries a lot of responsibility, stress or emotional weight.
You do not need to fit into a particular box to belong here.
This group is about exploring the many different ways people support their well-being, reconnect with themselves and others, and build a life that feels healthier, more grounded and more enjoyable.
We are interested in both familiar and emerging approaches to wellness. That may include movement, time outdoors, equine experiences, music, creative arts, nutrition, meditation, traditional cultural practices, personal development, community gatherings, and other holistic approaches.
We may also host educational conversations about newer and developing areas such as psychedelic research, plant-medicine research, trauma recovery, PTSD, depression, Right to Try, PIVOT, and other changing areas of health, policy and research. The goal is not to promote one particular approach, but to create space for thoughtful, informed conversation about what is being explored, what is available, what remains experimental, and what people may want to learn more about.
At the heart of the group is a simple idea: wellness does not look the same for everyone.
Some people feel better after a hike. Some need music, horses, movement, better food, meaningful conversation, a creative outlet, spiritual practice, good information, or simply a chance to be around people who understand that life can be a lot sometimes.
We want this to be a place where people can try things, learn things, meet good people and discover what actually helps them feel more connected, capable and alive.
### What We Hope to Create
We are working toward regular gatherings and experiences that may include:
- Outdoor activities and time in Nature
- Music, art and creative experiences
- Equine and animal-assisted activities
- Movement, breathwork and body-based practices
- Nutrition and natural-food education
- Holistic and Whole Health approaches
- Personal-development workshops
- Traditional and cultural healing practices
- Educational conversations about emerging mental-health and wellness research
- Social gatherings that are simply about friendship, connection and having a good time
Over time, we would also love to build toward a larger Holistic Health and Wellness event that brings many of these people, practices and organizations together in one place.
Think less “conference” and more community day: demonstrations, conversations, music, food, movement, Nature, hands-on experiences, useful information, and plenty of opportunities to meet people doing interesting work.
The larger vision is to create more doors into wellness.
People should not have to wait until they are in crisis to find community, support or something that makes them feel better. Sometimes the first step is simply having somewhere interesting to go, something new to try, and good people to meet along the way.
That is what we hope to build here.

KamboKnown traditionally as the “Vaccine of the Jungle,” Kambo is an Amazonian Frog Medicine used in Indigenous traditions for purification, stamina, clearing and preparation. Dr. Courtni Hale, Ph.D. has worked with Kambo for 15 years, following instruction received through an Indigenous lineage.
Kambo is not psychedelic, and it is not a scheduled substance. It works primarily through aligned mind and body. The secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog contains a complex mixture of bioactive peptides that produce a short, intense physiological experience. Small superficial points are made on the skin and Kambo is applied; the active portion of the experience is typically relatively brief and may include warmth, increased heart rate, sweating, nausea and gentle purging, followed by rest and recovery.
But the reason Dr. Courtni works with Kambo goes beyond the physical experience. We can understand a pattern intellectually and still remain caught inside it.Trauma, chronic stress, fear and limiting beliefs can become repetitive patterns that influence how we think, react, perform and relate to ourselves and others.
People often describe the period following Kambo as feeling lighter and clearer, with relief from looping thoughts, a quieter mind and greater clarity about their lives. For this reason, Dr. Courtni also uses Kambo as preparation for deeper personal and ceremonial work—an opportunity to step outside familiar patterns, reconnect with the body and explore what may be consuming energy or blocking access to personal power.
For veterans, executives, professionals and other high performers, the question isn't always “How can I push harder?”Sometimes the more powerful question is:
“What am I ready to stop carrying?”First Fridays | 7:00–9:00 PM | Lewes, Delaware
Group Kambo: $100 | Private Kambo: $3501 attendee - $100.00
