Meet 5:15 in the Ferncliff Forest (Mount Rutsen Road, Rhinebeck) parking lot -- my car is the silver Volvo station wagon.
After attuning to each of our senses, we will trek along the half-mile fire road to ascend the firetower for an unparalleled view.
