11:00 - Pastries and hot beverage at Bread Alone in Rhinebeck village.

Noon - Ascend the half-mile slope of Burger Hill (elevation gain 500 feet) with a panoramic view of the Catskills and poetry of Emily Dickinson.

1:00 - Ascend the half-mile trail to the Ferncliff Forest firetower with a panoramic view of the Hudson River and excerpts from John Muir.
