I know this is short notice, but for anyone who can and would like to get together virtually to discuss the future of the group, please join me Thursday evening.

I received an email with an offer to take over as organizer in order to avoid the group being completely shut down. Since it was a totally unexpected decision, I would love to get some feedback from everyone on what's working, what isn't, what you'd be interested in adding, etc..

I will say I would like to expand the group beyond the book club. While I am a true book addict and we will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy wonderful books together, I'd also love for it to become a community of holistic minded individuals coming together to learn, share and grow in all areas of life.

I'd love to eventually add different types of social gatherings. Anything from healthy dining, community events, maybe different sorts of movement activities for all different fitness levels.

Maybe there's a cool restaurant you've wanted to try, but would rather not go alone, or you heard about a mind, body, spirit event and think it'd be fun to have some friends to go with, or maybe you'd like some company for a walk, hike, yoga class, etc. Let's do some brainstorming and see what sticks.

I'm open to ideas, so please come be a part of the conversation. Would love to hear book suggestions as well.

I may try another meeting like this with more notice in the coming weeks, but I wanted to get together fairly quickly so we can get something on the calendar for May if possible. If you would like to share your ideas but this day/time conflicts, please feel free to private message me as well.
