What we’re about
Come sing and make sounds with us in community!
Everyone can SING and make sounds! Singing is in our DNA. Singing is an extension of spoken words, which is improvised most times that we speak.
We all have a unique soundprint. All of our voices are essential to the health of the planet, to each other, to all living things. Finding one's voice is an amazing lifelong journey. We have offerings to support each other in this discovery!! Our offerings are a free jam style like weaving a unknown sound creation. We do not sing cover songs or known songs... we create each song organically.
You can tap into and express the music already inside you! You can sing your heart songs in community.
Improvisational singing is supportive, meditative and FUN medicine! We create together melody, harmony and rhythms. Within the group dynamic, opportunities for individual expression are encouraged but not required! This style of singing is not always with words it could include other sounds and vocal and body expressions like clapping for example which is playfully fun and you might be surprised by what unfolds in a wonderful way!
This is a perfect place and group to develop singing confidence and a safe place to express without any judgment of skill or ability. This freestyle expression can be relaxing, connecting, healing, creative, and transformative.
My hope is these events create a sense of joy peace and oneness.
When we sing together our hearts align and beat as one - science says so! And the health benefits include physical, emotional well being, mental health and communication. Check out this link:
