Sailboat Races

This event is a mixed event for both men and women. If you are married bring your spouse.

Bring your chair and meet others from Holland Newcomers while relaxing along the channel watching the sailboats enter lake Michigan for the Sailboat competition. The sailboats begin entering the channel around 6:00 p.m. and return around 8:00 p.m. (depending on the wind).
** Meeting place along the channel across from the Van Andel house. The race begins in Lake Michigan around 6:45.
Entry is free with the Michigan Recreation Passport on your license plate tag.
*We have annual dues of $10 a year. However, you are allowed to attend 2 events for free to decide if Newcomers is right for you*
