An Evening with a Sommelier

Join the Holland Area Newcomers for an evening with Wally Fu, chemist & sommelier! Enjoy wine & snacks with a great group of people!

During this evening we will pair several wine varietals (single grape) as well as a Red Cuvee. Wally, our sommelier, will serve Sauvignon Blanc (a white crisp aromatic wine) and Cabernet Franc, the parents of Cabernet Sauvignon. Learn how Cabernet Sauvignon was born!! The third wine will be the child from the hybridization. We will also sample a Petit Verdot and a Merlot. These are the three varietals used in the specific Bordeaux blend (or a Cuvee), the sixth wine. Enjoy some snacks to pair with these delicious wines during our event!

The cost for this event is $40, per person. This is a ticketed event! We have a minimum amount of tickets that need to be sold to host this event.
