What we’re about

Note: We are holding October 2019's Meetup on October 27th instead of the third Sunday of the month, for this month only.

Hello and welcome to Tiny Dog Playgroup at Holliston Meadows!

Little dogs playing together, their peeps watching in bemusement, what do you get? A hoot!

We meet every third Sunday of each month from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. (watch for occasional date changes) at:

Holliston Meadows Pet Resort, 140 Summer Street, Holliston, MA 01746

T: (508) 429 1500

We gather together monthly out of the sheer delight of watching our tiny dogs romp about, play, sniff, chase and be chased with other dogs just like them in a safe, fun, relaxing setting. Our Tiny Dog Playgroup is a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

We welcome tiny dog owners and their small dogs to join our group. All small dogs (15 pounds and under) of any breed or mix with good *doggy manners are admitted.

Please join our friendly group!</I>

About the Meadows:The Meadows is the perfect locale for our group. It’s a beautiful, multi-million dollar, newly-built dog resort and spa with free parking across the street. We meet indoors in a clean, cozy space with plenty of seating.<

Few rules and what nots: Please be sure your dog(s) are healthy, have no fleas, have no communicable diseases and are up-to-date with shots.

Parking: It’s free, but across the street. The Meadows reserves the right to restrict parking in their lot to their business and have asked that we park across the street in the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic church’s parking lot. Please park as far from the church’s entrance to best accommodate their parishioners.

Weight and dog size: We have changed the allowable dog weight to 15 pounds and under from 20 pounds and under. Did you bring your dog over 15 pounds while it was Nancy’s group? No worries! Your dog is grandfathered in. Moxie and I welcome you to stay in the group. This change will be enforced going forward.

Also, small breed dogs only, please. We cannot accommodate medium and large dog breeds even if they meet the weight requirements as puppies.

*More on good doggy manners: Gentle and even-tempered dogs are always welcome. Please, no aggressive dogs! Moxie and I understand that dogs are dogs and sometimes display aggressiveness or agitation. Sometimes dogs will fight. Sometimes they establish boundaries between themselves. This is normal behavior, welcome behavior, under their parents’ supervision. But dogs who are aggressive and attack, especially if they bite, are not welcome.

Dues/Donations: We haven’t decided if we will institute dues or request donations at this time. We will let you know as soon as possible. If we do require dues, we won’t request them until January 2020.

Lastly, please clean up after your pooch. We will have supplies on hand for you.

That’s all folks!
