Self defense starts at defense of one's self from oneself. Healthy habits, mindfulness and psychological preparedness, self sufficiency and reliance, and balance are all as important as how to punch and kick. Maybe more important. This class brings a holistic approach to self defense, encompassing everything from mindset to defensive tactics against armed opponents. We will start everything class with a warmup, stretching, and meditation, followed by a sit-down discussion on mental well being, ethics, and core defensive principles. the second half of the class is for mixed traditional and modern martial arts and skills which will change each class. 65$ suggested donation per month.
