Youth Tough ~Love~ Tennis Meetup (age/ skills yr choice)/Open for private hr

Price listed would be inclusive for you or your group of up to 4 players of your choice.

This is a weekly Thursday afternoon meetup for up to three who would like to learn to play tennis with confidence and success using basic tips from the classic game plus fun skill building drills. We always begin a class from a 'tai chi' perspective versus a 'kung fu' one. You don't need any experience to participate in these meetups and will learn all components of a great game in slow motion, which you will gradually be able to speed up! Each session will be up to hour long (depending on your punctuality!).

One of the things that I intend for you to achieve by means of these meetups is flexibility, the understanding an error can be like a blip on a screen that need not become the defining statement on your abilities. Rather, as a former mentor of mine used to say, "let it roll off you like water off a duck's back." There are countless means of bringing your attention back to the current moment, to the next ball that is already upon you. We make multiple errors when we stay stuck with the shot that is over, even a second ago.

Another important skill we need to cultivate is the ability to identify just exactly what we are doing when we initiate or respond to a shot, so that adjustments are not only possible, but simplified.

Anyone that attends my groups with an open mind, ready to possibly look at their game from a slightly different perspective is usually pleasantly surprised. I think you will be as well!
