The Meaning of Intrinsic Reality Prajna

This event is a continuation of the series started in July 2025 where Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche read from the unpublished and preliminary translation of Expounding the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III at the temporary location of the Holy Heavenly Lake Xuanfa Dharma Center, 19099 Lemon Street, Hesperia, California. In the 1992 a famous artist and philosopher gave an amazing series of discourses in his home in Sichuan, China on the nature of reality and how to become an enlightened holy being. He used the vast teachings on transcendental wisdom contained in Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva's Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra as the structure for those teachings.
That amazing being came to America in 1999 and was subsequently recognized as an incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha, the teacher of Shakyamuni and other Buddhas. In 2014, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III published those discourses with His commentary in Chinese to great fanfare and supernatural recognition. They have not been released yet in English and, given their complexity and profundity, will probably not be available in anything except Chinese for some time. Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche, a close and long-time disciple was given permission to read from a preliminary translation of this book at her temple near Fresno and has also read chapters at other locations. She has also held ZOOM discussions on this text.
She started a series of readings from this text at Holy Heavenly Lake in Buddhist Town, Hesperia, California in 2015 and will continue, weather permitting, until finished. This series takes each of the concepts expressed in the title of the Prajna Parami-ta Heart Sutra to explain the absolute truth of the universe, prajna (wisdom) and ta or dhyana (meditation), the nature and purpose of all eight consciousnesses, suffering, nirvana, reincarnation, and much more. These readings form the foundation to understanding the rest of this very profound sutra.
